First of all a greeting full of hope, but above all with the most immense desire to continue contributing ideas and work on building the future we want.
Today after my nomination as candidate for deputy of the Valencia circuit 3 I present to you the issues where such proposals will focus youth is worth mentioning that have been launched unfair criticism from some groups that seek to qualify as incapable of assume the representation of a sector as important as the youth within the National Assembly.
Maybe my technical skills in the marketing area and following specializations, as well as my experience in business management and franchising in the area that I prepare, not enough to opt for an elective office, perhaps the values \u200b\u200band principles in my life I have obtained the product of effort and sacrifice on a path where work and study have had to go hand for the few opportunities I had in my childhood, there is a valid reason to represent them.
But for a group of young people who have been conducting for some time, for a group of natural and authentic leaders of the state where I live and for many people who have been witness to our actions and our ability to deliver, I get together the Julio Rivas characteristics necessary to represent the youth or part thereof within the National Assembly and not only them I'm pretty sure that trained and other challenges have assumed that you assume will be exercised responsibly and effectively.
But it is not the first time I have to assume the representation of youth, I did in the face of protests claiming the lack of consultation on such unjust laws as the LOE, it took me to jail, I did as the voice of strikes demanding respect for fundamental human rights, I did as leader of a national tour that visited 20 U.S. states, I did in the OAS Secretary General Insulza to the requesting attention to the case of political persecution in Venezuela, I did it before Commission denouncing and witnessing own of human rights violations that are committed in prisons, how criminalizing protest, I did after spending 18 days without food to make the first time since 2002 a high-level commission of the OAS to visit the country to raise complaints of human rights and I did recently after international organizations such as the Inter-American Development Bank, World Bank, European Union, the UN, the Inter-American system and the Italian government will select me with 4 other Venezuelans Delegates and representatives of the youth of our country to participate in the first world congress of young people supported by these important organizations, where more than 2,000 young from all over the world met to discuss our problems and create projects based on solving it.
I know the responsibility is very great, and it is vital therefore to clarify I'm not alone, I have the support of colleagues who make an active life within the organization I represent, with the assistance of excellent lawyers and support sectors While broader society.
The proposals below are the work and discussions with hundreds of youths from different latitudes, and as a delegate from Venezuela to the NMC not only I have the duty and commitment to disseminate, but to make them tangible, and for that we need your support, I need your vote.
